Portugal es el país donde nació Ana Correia.
También vivió en España y Nicaragua pero su casa ahora es Berlin, donde vive y trabaja desde 2008.
Aunque la artista haya estudiado Psicología lo que hace feliz a su alma es la Fotografía, sobretodo analógica. Le encanta fotografiar gente en mometos divertidos pero también profundos y conmovedores.
En su cuarto oscuro revela ella misma todas sus fotos y no se cansa de la magia de este trabajo, aunque muchas veces sea un poco solitario.
Su grande placer es la fotografía de calle y viajar sola. Además de fotografiar le encanta tambien dibujar. Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en varias ciudades.

Ana Correia wurde in Portugal geboren. Sie hat in Spanien, Nicaragua gelebt und gearbeitet und seit 2008 arbeitet sie in Berlin.
Sie hat eine Ausbildung als Psychologin aber Ihre Seele hat Sie immer zur analog Photographie hingezogen. Menschen auf der Strasse in den lustigsten Situationen aber auch bewegende Momente ergreifen die Künsterin und motivieren sie für ihre Arbeit. Ihre alte Seele und den Sinn für das alte Handwerk führen sie immer wieder in die Dunkelkammer, ein einsamer ort wo sie selbst ihre bilder entwickelt, bearbeitet und retouchiert.
Ihre grösste Freude ist die Strassenfotografie und die reisefotografie die sie bereits in zahlreichen gallerien und stadten ausgestellt hat.

Potugal is the country where Ana Correia was born.
She has also lived in Spain and Nicaragua but her home now is Berlin, where she has been living and working since 2008.
Altough with a background is Psychology Ana’s soul calling is photography, mainly analog. People in the funniest but also moving situations that’s what makes her smile and gives her purpose in life.
Her somehow old fashioned soul keeps her still adicted to to the lonesome yet magical dark room work where she develops her own pictures and also retouches them.
Her great pleasure is street photography and travelling alone. Besides photographing she also enjoys creating handmade jewelery, drawing and teaching. Her work has been exhibited in several cities.
