Daiane Rafaela é multiartista e trabalha nas áreas de teatro, performance e artes visuais. Formada em Artes Cênicas pela Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (Curitiba, Brasil), foi co-fundadora do Coletivo Eu Também Quero Um Carrinho de Mercado (2008) e do Centro Cultural Casa Selvática (2012), onde desenvolveu alguns de seus trabalhos. Tem como foco a body art, body modification e desdobramentos da estética corporal com ênfase em seu histórico pessoal e no feminismo, baseando-se em obras de outras mulheres como Virginia Woolf, Sarah Kane, Francesca Woodman entre outras. Dentre as principais obras estão: a performance junto aos grupos La Pocha Nostra e VestAndPage, o monólogo “Ânsia, Calma e Controle”; a vídeo-instalação “Disorder” e o happening “C6H12O6(s) + 6O2(g) ↔ 6CO2(g) + 6 H2O(l) + energia <3”.

Ich bin eine Multidisziplinäre Künstlerin. Meine Arbeit umfasst Theather, Performance und bildende Künste. Ich habe Theater an der Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (Curitiba, Brasilien) studiert und ich bin Mitbegründerin des ColetivoQuero Um Carrinho de Mercado (2008) und das Centro Cultural Casa Selvática (2012). Meine Forschungen sind über die Körper Ästhetik, das “bodymodification”und haben Schwerpunkte auf dem Feminismus und Frauen Ermächtigungs. Zu den Hauptarbeiten gehören: die Aufführung zusammen mit den Gruppen La Pocha Nostra und VestAndPage, dem Monolog «Anguish, Calm and Control»; Die Videoinstallation «Störung» und das Geschehen «C6H12O6 (s) + 6O2 (g) ↔ 6CO2 (g) + 6 H2O (l) + Energie <3».

Daiane Rafaela is a Brazilian multiartist residing in Berlin, with works in theater, performance and visual arts. Graduated in Performing Arts at Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (Curitiba, Brazil), she was a co-founder of the Art Collective Eu Também Quero Um Carrinho de Mercado (2008) and of the Cultural Centre Casa Selvática (2012), in which she developed works in acting and performance. The artist is focused in body art, body modification and body aesthetics bending, with emphasis on her personal history and influences from feminism, basing her works mostly on female authors such as Virginia Woolf, Sarah Kane, Francesca Woodman and others. Highlights include: the monologue “Ânsia, Calma e Controle”; the video-installation “Disorder” and the happening “C6H12O6(s) + 6O2(g) ↔ 6CO2(g) + 6 H2O(l) + energia <3”.
