Marisa Benjamim (1981, Portugal)
Graduada en escultura y Artes visuales por la Universidad ESADCR, Portugal. Actualmente realiza el master de Arte en Contexto de la UDK. Es una artistas interdisciplinaria que trabaja en diferentes medios como video, dibujo, fotografía, instalaciones y performance, inspirada por el amor a la naturaleza. Ha expuesto tanto colectivamente como individualmente en Haber Space at Central Booking, New York, the Food Cultura, Barcelona (ES); National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC; Institut für Ales mögliche, Berlin(DE); Super Market, Berlin (DE); Center of Arts La Maison Laurentine, (FR); Biennial in Visual Arts, Varna (BG). Actualmente vive y trabaja en Berlín.
Der vertikale wirbelnde Fall der Blätter wird auf der horizontalen Stütze des Papiers auf dem Arbeitstisch neu ausgearbeitet. Diese Spannung öffnet ein Feld der Unbestimmtheit, das sich den gezogenen Wegen nähert und die Chance gibt, eine neue Bewegungslinie zu erzeugen.

Marisa Benjamim absolvierte ihr Kunststudium im Bereich Bildender Kunst und Skulptur an der Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha in Portugal. Sie ist eine interdisziplinäre Künstlerin und arbeitet mit verschiedenen Medien, wie Video, Zeichnung, Fotografie, Installation und Performance – inspiriert oder geführt von der Liebe zur Natur. Sie hat bereits an verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen teilgenommen. Lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
